Problem:
Chemeketa’s welding program wanted a custom designed scout book for all the students to use for notes while working. There were not many strict guidelines, the only hard requirement was to be respectful of what it means to be a welder.

Solution:
I took a simple approach to this project, using imagery of a welding helmet as the core graphic on the front of the book. For the back, I wanted to have an image of a metal plate, with a simple slogan on the back.
