Problem:
I was tasked with creating a design for the 2024 Chemeketa Student Art Show. The coordinator for the show wanted an interesting use of color, as well as a design that didn’t rely on grid like blocks of color and images.

Solution:
For the main art piece, I took an old image of a butterfly that I made, and brainstormed several ways that I could use it in a poster. I eventually landed on a street art look, with the text and butterfly graphic blended onto a grayscale brick texture.
