Problem:
I was tasked with creating a brand for the Bridging Institute for Inclusion and Belonging at Chemeketa, a DEI institution that didn’t have much of an identity apart from the school. They wanted to change that, so they asked me to create branding for them, but most specifically, the logo.
Solution:
For the logo, I created a combination mark that combined the acronym BIIB with graphics that resemble a bridge, tying into the name of the Institution, and making an iconic feeling logo. The color scheme of the brand was required to be similar to Chemeketa’s official colors, as the Institute was still a part of the school.
